Your Next Stamp - Guest Designer for March 2017

Hello my dear friends, I felt as if I was just done with the New Year countdown and now, we are already stepping into the month of March. Time sure fly by super fast...

March is going to be an exciting month for me because I AM guest designing for Your Next Stamp this month! Yay!! 😁 Words just can't describe how excited I feel. It is truly a wonderful opportunity. I am so grateful and honored. They have the cutest stamps that are always a joy to play with !

Here is a card I had created using YNS Zero Calories set

I clear embossed the images and water-colored them using distress inks. Lots of chocolate for me because that's my favorite ice cream flavor. 😜 I then fuzzy cut the images out with my dainty scissors.

Next, I ink blended an A2 card panel using MFT premium dye inks (colors - peach bellini, in the buff, sno cone, limeade). To give it some texture and interest, I embossed it on the top and bottom, leaving 1/2 inch strip untouched where I would gold embossed the sentiment on.

I then taped the images onto the embossed card panel using foam adhesives. To finish it off, I added shine to the card with clear sequins and coated the ice cream popsicles with a layer of glossy accents to give it a cold, icy look. And, my card is DONE ! 😄

Thank you all for stopping by. Have a sweet day ahead !!

Hugs,
Amy

This is so cute - I really like the blended look of the background. What do you use for blending?
